About Me:
I am a rising fifth year undergraduate student at University of California, Santa Cruz. I intend to receive a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in Spring 2015. At UC Santa Cruz, I am heavily involved in the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), the HAM Radio Club, where I hold the position as Vice-President in both clubs. I am also part of the largest multicultural fraternity in the nation, Sigma Lambda Beta.

Since the summer of 2013, I have been part of the Nanostructured Energy Conversion Technology And Research group (NECTAR). Working with Professor, Nobuhiko Kobayashi, my research at NECTAR involved measuring the thermoelectric efficiency of the nanowires we grew in lab.

This summer of 2014, the California Alliance for Minority Participation (CAMP) has given me the opportunity to work in the Interactions Lab at USC. I will be working directly with PhD student Aaron St. Claire, under the supervision of Professor Maja Matarić, to facilitate and improve human-robot collaborative tasks.
